Danny is named after a real person — Richard Jordan's father, who lived with Parkinson's disease for 18 years while his mother served as his dedicated caregiver. That experience — watching a family navigate hundreds of decisions with no roadmap — is why Danny exists.
"No caregiver should have to piece together critical decisions from scattered sources — alone, at 2am, overwhelmed."
— Richard Jordan, Founder & CEO
Danny is named after Richard's father, who lived with Parkinson's disease for over 18 years. His mother served as the primary caregiver — navigating hundreds of decisions about care, finances, estate planning, and long-term arrangements with no single source of guidance.
That experience revealed a gap affecting 53 million American families: fragmented resources, scattered information, and no unified place to make well-informed decisions across the caregiving journey.
Before founding Danny, Richard was VP of Strategic Partnerships at Red Ventures, driving growth for Bankrate and other major brands. He brings that same drive for clarity to one of life's most complex challenges.
